Elizabeth has extensive experience in online and distance education through supporting students in their studies with the Open University, UK. She brings her passion for, and love of, learning to teaching English as a second language and very much enjoys the collaboration involved in helping others to master this language.
Elizabeth's wide breadth of experience gives her an excellent grasp of English in all its forms and its use colloquially, academically and in other professional contexts. She has taught English at a private language school in Andorra and online to Business professionals in France and Germany. She is now based in Spain where she coaches health professionals, helping them to improve their use of English in their work.

Elizabeth has a background in the sciences, having been a research plant biochemist in her first career, and then trained as a facilitator and mediator, working extensively in public, academic and Third (voluntary/ community) sectors in the UK. She now combines her research and practice experience in writing online educational content for the Open University postgraduate modules in Global Development.
When not researching, teaching or writing, Elizabeth loves to go hiking and traveling, study natural history, spend time with family and friends, and indulge her passion for dancing Argentine tango!
Erika earned her Master’s Degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Oxford Brookes University, UK. She holds a BA in English, a Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults (DELTA), and a Certificate in Teaching Business English (CertTEB). Erika has taught English as a second/foreign language for the past 25 years at education centers, colleges, and universities in Germany, England, California, Kansas, and Hawaii.
Erika’s teaching style is both professional and personable at the same time. She enjoys interacting with her students and helping them to feel confident in their use of the English language.
Erika offers online ESL courses to students ranging from beginner to advanced. Courses can be for general English, Business English, Professional English, or other specialized areas.
Erika’s students have included professionals from the following companies: Google, Amazon, Daimler AG, France Telekom, Fromageries des Chaumes, Deutsche Bank, Covestro, Nike, LG Electronics, and Astra Zeneca.
Erika lives on the Big Island of Hawaii and currently teaches students online in a variety of countries and states.
